Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to join our team as a Senior Electrical Safety Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to work on offshore windfarm projects, ensuring the safe operation of 66kV electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safe working practices are in place, reporting incidents, undertaking risk assessments and audits, promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • Perform SAP duties as required, reporting to the Lead SAP.
  • Produce and review switching schedules.
  • Provide isolations and safety documentation for the project.
  • Work under client High Voltage safety rules (Model Distribution Safety Rules).
  • Assist in the testing and commissioning of HV/LV systems.
  • Provide personal supervision if required.
  • Conduct and review point of work risk assessments.
Requirements
  • Full GWO: Sea Survival, First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness, Working at Heights.
  • Offshore medical certificate including Chester Step.
  • Offshore HUET.
  • Knowledge of WTG WTSR.
  • Knowledge of Electrical Safety Rules.
  • ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Current Senior Authorised Person authorisation to 66KV or above.
