Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Laboratory Manager in the Haematology department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organisation of the laboratory staff, liaison with the Operations Manager, and recruitment and HR issues of departmental staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organise laboratory staff to deal with workload demands in the Haematology department
  • Liaise with the Operations Manager as necessary
  • Recruit and manage departmental staff, including training, discipline, and welfare
  • Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met, including safe working practices and compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act

Requirements

  • HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist
  • Computer literate
  • Performance and quality
