We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Avery Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality culinary services that contribute to the overall wellbeing of our residents.

About the Role

Your primary focus will be to support our Head Chef and Sous Chef in leading a culinary team that provides a nutritionally balanced and comprehensive service. This includes preparing nutritious food and beverages, working closely with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss catering functions, and addressing special needs or dietary requirements.

The ideal candidate must hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ equivalent, a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, and have a minimum of 1-year catering experience. You should also demonstrate compassion and commitment to delivering high-quality culinary services to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To prepare nutritious food and beverages to a high standard, as directed by the Head Chef.
  2. To work closely with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss catering functions and address special needs or dietary requirements.
  3. To support cost-effective stock control systems to minimise waste and ensure these are in place.
