Job Summary:

Morson Talent is seeking an experienced buyer to join our team. As a buyer, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities, leading sourcing, and negotiating contracts with suppliers to achieve best purchasing conditions and minimize total cost of ownership and risks.

About the Position:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our company.
  • You will be responsible for setting up and leading procurement activities for products, including securing contractual frameworks with suppliers.
  • You will lead sourcing activities, manage tendering and contract negotiation to achieve best purchasing conditions in accordance with Company requirements and procedures.
  • You will monitor contracts with suppliers and Company stakeholders to ensure suppliers deliver expected performance in all dimensions.
  • You will act as main focal point for contracts internally and externally, managing day-to-day relationships with suppliers and running projects to optimize customer value, while minimizing total cost of ownership and risks.
  • You will coordinate with Multi-Functional Team for all activities related to contracts.
  • You will assist in defining and implementing commodity strategy, perform market analysis and support global sourcing and offset initiatives.
  • You will ensure accurate financial forecasts with Financial Controlling in relation to financial risks and opportunities for Suppliers/Contracts.
  • You will ensure risk and opportunity management is embedded in day-to-day operations.
  • You will collate and charge back opportunities for counter claims to suppliers.

Requirements:

  • Procurement experience is essential. Good business experience and knowledge of procurement process are also welcomed.
  • Experience in working in multi-functional environment.
  • Experience in stakeholder management and influencing internal customers.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, including at senior management level.
  • Desirable: Commercial/Contract/Finance knowledge.
