Industrial Sales Consultant

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Kemp Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales growth in the plant and equipment industry.
About the Role:
As a Field Sales Representative, you will proactively reach out to potential and existing customers via phone and email to drive sales of our plant and equipment parts. You will identify customer needs, match them with the right equipment, and convert enquiries into orders. Building strong, long-term customer relationships is crucial to maximize repeat business and referrals. You will also coordinate with the engineering and transport teams to ensure smooth delivery of equipment to customer sites, updating the CRM and other systems to track sales activities, machine availability, and customer interactions.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively contact potential and existing customers via phone and email to drive sales
* Identify customer needs and match them with the right equipment
* Convert enquiries into orders and build strong customer relationships
* Coordinate with the engineering and transport teams to ensure smooth delivery of equipment
* Update the CRM and other systems to track sales activities, machine availability, and customer interactions
Requirements:
* Previous experience in sales, ideally within the Plant, Powered Access, Tool, or Material Handling industries
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional approach to customer interactions
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools, with an eye for detail in updating records
* Goal-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
* Driving licence required
Salary: £25,000 Basic + Commission (OTE £35,000)
