Job Description

Protocol Education is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated Curriculum Support Teams in a Salisbury based Secondary School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students who require additional help, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Liaise with students, teachers, parents, SENCO, and external professionals to ensure effective support.
  • Guide and manage individuals and groups for interventions, and may be required to manage whole classes under the direction of a teacher.
  • Plan and deliver effective learning activities, assess, record, and report on pupils' progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
  • At least a Grade C in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality learning opportunities and supporting students' development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with a variety of pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Self-motivated, dedicated, and consistent, with a proactive approach to work.
