Overview: Our client, a leading composite manufacturer in Dubai, is seeking an experienced Composite Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee production processes and ensure compliance with top-tier quality standards. This role offers a unique blend of technical challenge and leadership responsibility in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Job Summary: As a Composite Manufacturing Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing a skilled workforce, interpreting technical drawings, and participating in various aspects of the lamination process. You will also collaborate with the Marine Design Department to clarify queries on production drawings and ensure all tools and machinery are functioning correctly. Additionally, you will lead and train the workforce, ensuring full compliance with all aspects of the boat build.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Marine Design Department to clarify and address any queries on production drawings.
  • Interpret and execute basic technical drawings.
  • Assist in de-moulding parts from moulds and assembling parts and panels as per instructions.
  • Participate in various aspects of the lamination process.
  • Ensure all tools and machinery are functioning correctly, reporting any issues to the HSE officer immediately.
  • Conduct visual inspections of moulds and oversee the building and assembling of parts and panels.
  • Ensure adequate resources in terms of manpower and materials, communicating any delays or additional needs to the Production Coordinator and Planner.
  • Lead and train the workforce, ensuring full compliance with all aspects of the boat build.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need at least 3-5 years of experience in boat building / marine / aerospace / similar manufacturing with a strong focus on composite materials and processes involved. You will also require at least 2 years proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. A strong understanding of technical drawings and ability to interpret them accurately are essential. Additionally, you will need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.

Salary: £45,000.00-£70,000.00 per year Approx
