We are seeking a skilled Utility Groundworker to join our Reinstatement team in a permanent, full-time capacity.
This is a hands-on role that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to reinstate excavations in highways and private sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Reinstating excavations in highways and private sites to a high standard
- Working closely with the team to ensure safe working practices and good team communication
- Delivering excellent customer service where reactive maintenance is required
- Assisting with other ad-hoc projects as required
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with groundworks/reinstating techniques, including tarmac, modular services, slabs, and concrete
- A HGV licence and experience of driving a Hotbox or Grab/HIAB lorry (desirable)
- Experience of working on public highways, including setting up and taking down temporary traffic signals to the code of practice
