Grocery Channel Lead Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Grocery Channel Lead to join our team at YF Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth within Grocery retailers through creative, high-growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full operational, P&L, and strategic responsibility to drive growth within Grocery retailers
  • Understand the retailer's strategy and align it with our own, while considering macro-trends affecting the category and wider industry
  • Build and maintain great relationships within the wider matrix of key retailers, including buyers, category managers, online and rapid delivery teams, merchandising team, and supply chain
  • Work alongside the Brand Manager to ensure the appropriate ROI is met and the brand is represented correctly
  • Generate new business opportunities by maximising your retailer networks and effectively communicating across all levels via presentations and proposals
Requirements:
  • A combination of start-up ambition and experience of delivering substantial growth targets, with strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, from presenting a 3-year strategy to getting hands-on setting up new lines
  • Specific experience in an account management role in the food/drink industry, with some experience of managing Grocery retailers
  • Preferably worked within a cross-functional organisation and has experienced different business ownership structures and business cultures
  • A creative thinker who is financially and commercially literate, data-savvy, and aims for excellence in everything they do
