Job Title: Night Shift HGV Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Night Shift HGV Technician to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Diagnostic and Rectification: Diagnose and rectify all types of faults, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • On-Site Support: Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or at customer's premises, providing prompt and effective support to minimize downtime.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully, and all precautions are taken to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaise with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and maintain open communication with customers and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Technical Qualification: Technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles.
  • Driving Licenses: Current driving license and LGV/HGV license.
  • Desirable Experience: ADR and previous experience in a similar role.
