Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Night Shift Technician to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Rectification: Diagnose and rectify all types of faults, using your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Roadside Assistance: Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or at customer's premises, providing prompt and effective assistance to minimize downtime.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully, and all precautions are taken to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with the parts department to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and maintain effective communication with colleagues and customers.
Requirements
  • Technical Qualification: Possess a technical qualification (City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician) or proven experience repairing and maintaining vehicles.
  • Driving and Licensing: Hold a current driving license and LGV/HGV license.
  • ADR Certification: Possess ADR certification.
