Cloud Performance Optimization Specialist

At Cloudsmith, we're seeking a skilled Cloud Performance Optimization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cloud-native team, you'll play a vital role in enhancing our performance testing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strengthen our capacity to identify and resolve potential performance bottlenecks
  • Ensure optimal performance across all our systems
  • Apply expertise in black box testing and load testing to ensure robust and scalable systems
  • Analyze telemetry data from monitoring platforms to gain deeper insights into operational characteristics
  • Leverage APM tools to monitor real-time system performance and address potential issues
  • Develop and implement strategies for system enhancements, focusing on improving performance and reducing latency
  • Lead efforts in capacity planning to ensure our infrastructure meets current and future operational demands efficiently
  • Work closely with development, operations, and product teams to align performance goals with business objectives and customer needs


Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in performance testing and optimization, particularly within cloud environments
  • Experience with Python and Locust for load testing
  • Ability to work remotely from anywhere on the island of Ireland, with in-person meetings from time to time in Belfast
