We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Apprentice Family Practitioner to join our team at Concord Medical Practice.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Work: Conduct a minimum of fourteen appointments per week, including face-to-face and telephone consultations, to provide high-quality patient care.
- Home Visits: Perform GP home visits as required for care home and palliative patients, ensuring timely and compassionate care.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle general administration duties, including referrals, correspondence, lab results, prescriptions, and document processing, to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Duty Doctor Sessions: Participate in one duty doctor session per week, addressing same-day requests, queries, and emergencies while collaborating with care coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
- Clinical Meetings: Attend regular clinical meetings to stay updated on best practices, share knowledge, and contribute to the development of our practice.
- Contract and Audit Work: Engage in contract, QOF, and audit work as needed, to ensure compliance and quality improvement.
- Insurance Reports: Complete insurance reports and other non-GMS work for patients as required, demonstrating a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Extended Hours: Participate in the Same Day Service rota and Extended Hours as required, to provide flexible and accessible care to our patients.
- Professional Development: Ensure mandatory training is kept up to date, to maintain expertise and stay current with best practices.
