School Support Assistant

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Education Support Assistant to join our team at AWD online.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality student support across various subjects, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure students receive the best possible education.

About the Role

The Education Support Assistant will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development by providing individual and small group support, assisting teachers with lesson preparation, delivery, and assessment, and contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and small group support to students across various subjects.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, delivery, and assessment.
  • Support students with special educational needs or disabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and other support staff.
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant subject area (desirable).
  • Possess a patient, understanding, and empathetic approach.

Salary and Benefits:
