Collections Operations Manager

SAPI Group Limited is seeking a Collections Operations Manager to oversee the company's collections process. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and effective collection of outstanding payments from customers while maintaining positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize the collections process and improve cash flow.
  2. Monitor outstanding payments and proactively contact customers to resolve any issues or disputes.
  3. Negotiate payment plans with delinquent customers and maintain accurate collection records.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address root causes of payment delays or disputes.
  5. Prepare and present collection reports to management, highlighting trends and recommendations.

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in collections or a similar role, preferably in the financial services industry.
  2. Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  3. Strong leadership abilities and the ability to build a high-performing collections team.
  4. Ability to analyze data and identify trends to drive improvements in the collections process.
  5. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to collections.
  6. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  7. Proficient in using collection management systems and software.
  8. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
