We are seeking a seasoned fundraising expert to join Moon Consulting as Director of Fundraising & Communications. This is an exciting opportunity to build a fundraising function from scratch and lead on the fundraising and communications strategy for our client, a well-established charity based in Bristol.

As Director of Fundraising, you will play a key role in the Senior Leadership Team by providing thoughtful and creative leadership and productive working relationships with other Directors, teams, and colleagues. Your primary focus will be on overseeing income generation across key areas, setting targets, and achieving significant income objectives.

To succeed in this role, you will require extensive fundraising experience, specifically in areas such as:

  • Leadership at a senior executive level with experience of managing relationships with key stakeholders, colleagues, and Trustees to deliver fundraising and marketing objectives.
  • Ability and knowledge to develop and implement effective strategies to achieve significant income, activity, and expenditure targets.
  • Ability to forecast, set, and control budgets.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence giving the ability to communicate well with all people at all levels.
