We're a leading UK retailer of appliances and electricals, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Commercial Analyst to join our team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our Commercial P&L, which drives performance of our retail business through investigation, analysis, and the implementation of accurate forecast models.

Working closely with Senior Management, Finance Teams, Traders, Supply Chain, and the wider Commercial team, you'll have a significant impact on AO's performance and strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and distribute UK Retail P&L reports
  • Understand key drivers of revenue and profitability
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models on performance and future value
  • Analyse market share and areas of over/under performance
  • Support the business with relevant sales and profitability metrics

Your Skills and Experience

  • Numerical degree in maths, statistics, economics, accounting, or a business-related discipline
  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Experience working within a commercial, analytical, or accounting function
  • Highly numerate and analytical mindset
  • Ability to manage a team
  • Confidence to challenge and offer recommendations
  • Logical and can-do attitude
