Senior Accountant Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to contribute to the success of Hays Senior Finance. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing and reviewing management and statutory accounts, as well as assisting juniors with their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and reviewing management and statutory accounts
- Assisting juniors with their work, including completing VAT returns and bookkeeping
- Liaising with partners and seniors on a daily basis
- Exposure to audit work, reporting into the partner and assisting on audit files
Requirements:
- Previous experience working for an accountancy practice for a minimum of 3 years
- ACCA or ACA qualified, or finalist in qualifications or qualified by experience
- Experience utilizing accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
- Desirable: experience leading a team, training juniors, or reviewing work, as well as prior experience on an audit
