Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our team at SHG (Care Villages). As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional person-centered care to our residents.

As a Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing individualized care plans that cater to the unique needs of our residents.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident records, adhering to company policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation.
• Leading and supervising a team of care staff to ensure seamless delivery of care services.
• Conducting regular staff appraisals to support the growth and development of our team members.
• Mentoring and coaching staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Ensuring the correct skill mix is maintained on each shift to meet the needs of our residents.
• Administering and recording medication accurately and efficiently.
• Promoting a better quality of life and well-being for our residents by encouraging participation in activities that interest them.
• Assuming charge of the home in the absence of the Home Manager and Deputy Manager.
• Maintaining positive professional relationships with external multidisciplinary teams.

About You

We are looking for a qualified nurse with experience in delivering person-centered care. You should possess excellent communication skills, be empathetic, friendly, and approachable. A meticulous attention to detail and a drive to provide consistently excellent quality of care are essential. You should also be a natural leader, with a track record of motivating a team to achieve outstanding results.

You should be comfortable taking responsibility and remain calm under pressure. As a team player, you should be outstanding in your own field and have a high level of respect for your colleagues.
