About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Children's Hospice South West. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our hospice environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the cleaning of the main house and offices, including preparation of children's and family rooms and all main communal areas and bathrooms.
  • Assist with the laundering of bed linen and clothes, ironing, and stocking up of linen cupboards.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a cleaning or housekeeping role, ideally within a hotel or similar setting.
  • Awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
  • Good communication skills and a warm and friendly approach.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
