About the Role

Kennedys is seeking a highly skilled Associate to join its Professional Liability team in Manchester, specializing in construction claims and coverage advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle a vast range of construction Professional Indemnity disputes and complex coverage advice.
  • Provide expert guidance on professional indemnity policies and coverage issues in the Construction Professional Indemnity sector.
  • Assist in handling high-value construction claims and supervise large cases in a team environment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including insurers, reinsurers, architects, contractors, engineers, and other industry professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in construction claims and coverage advice.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience as a UK Qualified Solicitor, Foreign Qualified Lawyer, or CILEX qualified professional with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in handling professional indemnity policies and coverage issues in the Construction Professional Indemnity sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
