We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineering Lead to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Electrical Power Systems Definition team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing an engineering team to deliver the functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment
- Managing the processes and reviews of technical documentation
- Providing advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines
- Engaging with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems
Requirements:
- Degree qualified Electrical Engineering or equivalent engineering background
- Engineering Chartership required (or equivalent experience demonstrated)
- Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team leadership experience
