Verification Engineer Leader

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Verification Engineer to join our System IP team in Cambridge. As a Senior Verification Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the verification of units within projects through all phases of the design and verification flow. This includes working closely with the RTL design team to develop comprehensive verification strategies, creating and reviewing design verification documentation, designing and implementing SystemVerilog/UVM based verification IP and testbenches, improving existing testbenches to increase performance, quality, and efficiency, testing and debugging Verilog RTL, defining and implementing functional coverage, planning and tracking tasks to meet targets on time, driving execution to ensure quality and on-time delivery, and coaching and mentoring junior engineers.
**Responsibilities:**
- Lead the verification of units within projects through all phases of the design and verification flow
- Work closely with the RTL design team to develop comprehensive verification strategies
- Create and review design verification documentation
- Design and implement SystemVerilog/UVM based verification IP and testbenches
- Improve existing testbenches to increase performance, quality, and efficiency
- Test and debug Verilog RTL
- Define and implement functional coverage
- Plan and track tasks to meet targets on time
- Drive execution to ensure quality and on-time delivery
- Couple and mentor junior engineers
**Requirements:**
- Substantial experience in RTL verification for complex IP products
- Proficiency in hardware verification languages, preferably SystemVerilog/UVM
- Experience in developing coverage-driven constrained random test environments
- Experience in producing specifications and documentation describing complex designs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
