We are part of the Asset and Wealth Management Division of Goldman Sachs, providing a comprehensive range of investment services to wealthy individuals and families worldwide.

Our Team

We are a team of experienced lawyers who work closely with clients across the PWM and Marcus businesses, providing advice on a range of issues including new product and service offerings, implementation of new regulations and specific client situations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Advising PWM and Marcus on all aspects of the client relationship from pitches through to structuring of accounts and account opening procedures.
  • Advising PWM and Marcus on a variety of business issues, including new business initiatives, impact of regulation on new and existing business, and changes to existing product and service offerings.
  • Advising on a wide range of regulatory topics across the UK and EU, such as interpretation of new and existing regulations and assessment of the impact of regulations to our business activities.
  • Advising product specialists in PWM and Marcus on all aspects of product development and documentation.
  • Liaising with other lawyers in the Goldman Sachs Legal Division globally.
  • Liaising with outside counsel on a broad range of domestic and cross-border jurisdictional issues.

Requirements

We are targeting qualified lawyers in the 2-4 years PQE range, with relevant post-qualification experience either with a reputable law firm or as in-house counsel. Knowledge of a major European language would be useful.
