Join Our Home from Home Fostering Scheme

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic couple to become contracted carers for our Home from Home service, specialising in supporting children with autism or other disabilities on a 2:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overnight care for children with disabilities in your own home
  • Work closely with the child's family and our team to ensure the child's needs are met
  • Participate in comprehensive training to develop your skills and knowledge

What We Offer:

  • A competitive annual payment of up to £37,800 per year per couple, with an additional payment of £17,180 per year based on 210 overnight stays
  • A comprehensive training package tailored to your needs and those of the children in your care
  • The opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children with autism and other disabilities

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be required to live in the Stockport area and will be matched with several children. You will be expected to provide 210 overnight stays per year in your own home and will work closely with our team to ensure the child's needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Be a couple living in the Stockport area
  • Have the relevant skills and experience to care for children with autism and other disabilities
  • Be willing to participate in comprehensive training to develop your skills and knowledge
