About the Role

GKN Aerospace is a leading supplier of systems and components to the global aerospace industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at our Filton site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team delivering 24/7 maintenance to a CNC machine shop
  • Ensure PPM is completed on time while supporting with operational requirements
  • Drive asset uptime and reliability through tactical and strategic activities
  • Drive HSE culture and ensure all requirements are met
  • Support quality and manufacturing engineering in delivering right first time components
  • Collect and analyse data to support continuous improvement activities
  • Manage financial budget to maximise value
  • Manage contractors and ensure services are delivered in line with expectations
  • Planning and management of maintenance and overhauls
  • Drive TPM

Requirements

We are looking for a talented individual with excellent organisational and verbal and non-verbal communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and reliability, with experience in managing teams and driving HSE culture.
