About the Role

GKN Aerospace is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at our Filton site. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our CNC machine shop, managing a team of maintenance professionals, and driving asset uptime and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team delivering 24/7 maintenance to a CNC machine shop
  • Ensure PPM is completed on time while supporting with operational requirements
  • Drive asset uptime and reliability through tactical and strategic activities
  • Drive HSE culture and ensure all requirements are met
  • Support quality and manufacturing engineering in delivering right first time components
  • Collect and analyse data to support continuous improvement activities
  • Manage financial budget to maximise value
  • Manage contractors and ensure services are delivered in line with expectations
  • Planning and management of maintenance and overhauls
  • Drive TPM

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a talented Maintenance Manager with excellent organisational and verbal and non-verbal communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team. You will have a strong background in manufacturing, data analysis, and IT skills, with experience in leadership, problem-solving, and engineering.
