Senior Planning Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Officer to join our team at Falcon Green, a leading general contractor in the mission critical and life sciences sectors. As a key member of our site team, you will be responsible for delivering project planning, programming, and progress monitoring services on a brand new data centre project in Oxfordshire.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of project delivery, a detail-driven personality, and a forward-thinking mindset. You will be working with a market-leading contractor that operates a diverse business model and demands modern health and safety and employee engagement practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with the Client, subcontractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attending site meetings and other associated meetings.
  • Providing the planning service on tenders and projects, including attending pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contract.
  • Monitoring and preparing progress reports on the project programme, maintaining look-ahead programmes, and advising on implications to both Client and Project Team.
  • Considering and discussing alternatives with the Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of project planning experience with a main contractor.
  • Previous data centre, life sciences, or mission critical project experience is beneficial.
