Job Title: Education Officer Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Officer Specialist to join our team at Hatched Recruitment Group. As an Education Officer Specialist, you will be responsible for providing an effective and targeted education inclusion service in a specialist team within Southwark's Family Early Help service.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work in partnership with parents, young people, and schools to ensure that all children of compulsory school age access education. You will also be responsible for ensuring that maximum effort is given to keeping young people in education, with particular attention given to promoting full-time attendance and preventing exclusion through educational achievement and positive behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, maintain, and progress a caseload of families who require targeted intervention in relation to attendance or inclusion
• Work in partnership with parents, young people, and schools to ensure that all children of compulsory school age access education
• Ensure maximum effort is given to keeping young people in education, with particular attention given to promoting full-time attendance and preventing exclusion

Salary: £27/hour
