Fleet Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and capable Maintenance Coordinator with a background in logistics or fleet management to join our team at Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and control tank container periodic testing programs to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage and control fleet inspection programs to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Oversee third-party repair depots to ensure cost-effective and high-quality repairs.
  • Optimize tank container utilization while in repair depots to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and control maintenance and repair (M&R) spend in the region to achieve cost savings.
  • Assist with damage surveys and control tank container modifications as required.
  • Perform estimate verification and post-repair inspections to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Provide technical support to the Global commercial team as needed.
  • Manage the delivery of customer-required tank modifications and preps prior to loading.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a fleet maintenance environment with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
