Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and talented Executive Pastry Chef to join our leading Pastry Team at the Lab London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of pastry chefs in a luxury venue, utilizing previous experience in a similar role to drive success.
  • Develop and implement creative pastry menus, showcasing exceptional attention to detail and a passion for pastry.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry chefs, utilizing leadership and delegation skills to drive team growth.
  • Collaborate with the pastry team to maintain high-quality standards, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, attending workshops and seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury venue.
  • Passion for pastry, a creative flair, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Leadership and delegation skills, including the ability to train and mentor junior pastry chefs.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible.
  • Good command of English with the ability to communicate confidently.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
