Smile Education is seeking a Permanent Sen Teacher to join their team. As a SEN College Tutor, you will have the opportunity to positively impact the academic and social development of pupils with additional needs through small classes and tutoring sessions.

This highly rewarding role offers a brilliant learning environment with fantastic school grounds and exceptional classrooms. You will deliver teaching and learning within a range of environments to students with neurological and cognitive learning needs, serving as a personal tutor to a group of students and responsible for their timetable, including developing schemes of work and lesson plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Tutor college students at a SEN school
  • Support students with an ASC/autism diagnosis
  • Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
  • Collaborate with experienced teachers and other LSAs
  • Complete induction training

Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience

Requirements: QTLS or QTS, degree-level education with teaching experience, previous SEN/ASC experience desirable, calm, compassionate, and proactive manner, excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
