We are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with various needs, including Autism, Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, in multiple primary and secondary schools across the Salford area.

Job Description:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work on a flexible, day-to-day basis that fits your schedule, supporting students with SEN in a variety of settings. Your role will involve:

  • Providing individualized support to students with SEN, including those with Autism and SEMH challenges.
  • Assisting teachers with lesson planning and delivery, ensuring students with SEN receive the support they need.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote student engagement and inclusion.
  • Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive support system for students with SEN.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a school setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring attitude, with a commitment to supporting students with diverse needs.
