SEN Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist Academy school in Salford. The successful candidate will be working in small class groups in KS3 with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support pupil engagement with the curriculum, with special attention to behaviour.
  • Manage disruptions and follow school-wide policies and schemes, alongside individual Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in some capacity.
  • Ability to work closely with pupils with SEN, making a real difference.
  • Flexibility and confidence in a teaching assistant role.
What We Offer:
  • £83.85+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.
  • Great opportunities thereafter through Teaching Personnel.

Senior leadership are seeking a flexible and confident TA to join their committed faculty. This role involves supporting pupil engagement with the curriculum, with special attention to behaviour. Therefore, candidates must be comfortable managing disruptions. Teaching Assistants must be capable of following school-wide policies and schemes, alongside individual Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).

This role has a November start with consideration for a given notice period. Working with Teaching Personnel mean that you will be put in touch with a specialist consultant to support your career, alongside the opportunity for permanent positions in the future. Additional training is also available free or heavily discounted.
