Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Receptionist to join our team at Lympstone Manor, a leading member of Relais & Chateaux. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and will consistently perform to the highest level, ensuring all Lympstone Manor standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake evening, weekend, early, and late shifts with a focus on providing the very best possible levels of customer service.
- Be a focal point for hotel guests and employees when on shift, handling all external and internal calls in the correct manner.
- Handle guest reservations and bookings to the correct standard, maintaining knowledge of the hotel, clients, and services at all times.
Requirements
- The ability to work as an effective team member.
- Efficient, driven, and highly organized.
- Attention to detail and well-developed communication skills.
- Knowledge of hotel reservations systems.

Situated in the heart of Devon, Lympstone Manor sits between Exeter and Exmouth and overlooks the Exe Estuary.
Can I get to Lympstone Manor via public transport?
You can take the coastal train from Exeter St. Davids or Exeter Central train stations, take the Exmouth train and exit at Lympstone village. It is a 15 minute walk to Lympstone Manor from the train station.
Do I need the right to work in the UK?
In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility.
Do you provide employee accommodation?
The hotel may be able to offer on-site staff accommodation, in order to help the newest members of the team re-locate and settle in.
