About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Production System Department at MINI Plant Oxford as a Plant Steering Intern. This 13-month placement will provide you with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic planning, business development, and operations management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies and plans for MINI Plants Oxford and Swindon.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse business data, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations to enhance plant operational efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Assist with the facilitation of Leadership Circles and coordination of critical plant topics and visits, including those of VIPs.
  • Contribute to the acceleration and coordination of digitalisation and innovation projects.
  • Support the planning and development of plant-wide operations and value-added production systems.
Requirements
  • Studying towards an Undergraduate Degree in a Business/Operations Management related subject and on track to achieving a 2:2 standard or higher.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving skills, with experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • A methodical and structured approach to planning and delivering tasks.
  • Digital proficiency, with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
