Role Summary

Our client, a leading construction supply business, is seeking a Mechanical Equipment Repair Expert to join their workshop team in High Wycombe. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of specialist construction machinery, including air compressors, mixing, pump, and spraying equipment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Mechanic to work with a variety of complex machinery and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in servicing and repairing vehicles or machinery, as well as a strong understanding of the construction sector.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing hire fleet machinery to ensure optimal performance
  • Repairing customers' own machinery and equipment, returning them to full operating capacity
  • Providing expert advice and assistance to customers visiting our premises
  • Working on-site, including deliveries where required
  • Maintaining accurate records of repairs and safety certifications

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, servicing vehicles or machinery
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and its equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Salary & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
  • Standard working hours: 8am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)
