Job Summary:
In this role as a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for performing assembly and fitting of mechanical systems and equipment. You will diagnose mechanical faults and perform necessary adjustments and repairs, working with technical drawings, schematics, and instructions to ensure precision and compliance with specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly and fitting of mechanical systems and equipment

  • Work with technical drawings, schematics, and instructions to ensure precision and compliance with specifications
  • Conduct testing and inspection to verify correct operation of machinery
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and maintain high standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and hand tools
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
  • Relevant certifications in mechanical engineering or related field preferred
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to health and safety best practices
