We are looking for a skilled practice nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working 30 hours per week. As a practice nurse, you will play a crucial role in managing long-term conditions, such as asthma, COPD, and diabetes, for patients in our general practice setting.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Manage and treat patients with long-term conditions, ensuring compliance with national or local policies and practice needs.
  2. Support and manage the health needs of women presenting for sexual health consultations, contraception, and cervical cytology screenings.
  3. Implement and participate in vaccination and immunisation programmes for both adults and children.
  4. Provide wound care services, including stitch removal and dressings.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience. This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Person Specification
  • NMC registration with active PIN
  • Competence in undertaking asthma, COPD, and diabetic clinics and reviews, holding relevant certificates.
