Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Education Welfare Officer to join our Attendance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a professional and efficient attendance service across the school, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and maintaining confidentiality and high professional standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities

- Build positive relationships with young people, their parents/carers and school staff
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to make a significant difference to the lives of our students

Working Arrangements
This is a permanent appointment which is subject to a 12-month probationary period. The position is being offered on an either term time only or all year round basis, to be discussed at interview.
The normal hours of work are 36 hours per week: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm and Friday, 8:00am to 3:45pm. This includes a 45-minute unpaid break.
