Global Procurement Lead

ATA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Global Procurement Lead to join our client, a prestigious global business that designs, manufactures, and provides servicing to specialist high-value engineered products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing global purchasing strategies for high-value engineered components needed for the manufacture of their specialized systems. Key components will include engines, motors, control panels, mechanical seals, and bearing housings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement global purchasing strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency
  • Meet with suppliers to negotiate on price and commercial terms
  • Identify opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships with clients
  • Review supplier performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Work closely with the Group CFO to develop and implement purchasing strategies
Requirements:
  • Significant experience within a senior-level procurement-related role
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Excellent commercial acumen in relation to procurement terms and conditions
  • Ability to travel globally with regular trips outside the UK on a monthly basis
