Job Title: Children's Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Children's Support Worker to join our team at Brook Street Social Care NMR. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate individual to work with children who require support with their daily lives. You will work closely with our team to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the children's physical, emotional, and educational development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential care settings
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement individual care plans
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children who may be experiencing challenging behaviors
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children in a care setting
  • Driver with access to own vehicle
  • Reliable and flexible with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Knowledge and understanding of working with children with complex needs
