The Role:

As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing specialist trolleys and equipment for clinics and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy environment, adhering to infection control policies
  • Ensuring adequate stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
  • Providing chaperone services and supporting patients with mobility and dressing needs
  • Assisting consultants and nurses with clinical procedures and patient care
  • Recording patient data and reporting any concerns to qualified staff
  • Participating in the provision of care to patients, as directed by nurses and consultants

What You'll Need:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing demands
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in cancer care
  • Basic knowledge of customer care and data protection principles
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
