Job Title: Safety Requirements Manager Location: Remote or Hybrid Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Requirements Manager to join our team at BAE Systems. As a key member of our Dreadnought Combat Systems Safety Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing all safety requirements that filter down from whole boat into combat systems. You will work closely with the Safety Team, Subsystems, and Suppliers to ensure that safety requirements are properly recorded and implemented. Key Responsibilities: * Manage all safety requirements that filter down from whole boat into combat systems * Record safety requirements in DOORS * Deliver reports to Senior Engineering Manager on safety requirements process * Liaise with Subsystems, Safety Team, and Suppliers on safety requirements * Provide specialist support to Safety Team/Subsystems on gap analysis between formal safety requirements and assumptive safety requirements Requirements: * Experience using DOORS * Safety requirements management experience, particularly in managing requirements up and down the V cycle * Degree or relevant level of experience in requirements management * Defence contract experience * Excellent communication and collaborative engagement skills Benefits: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on complex and challenging projects * Collaborative and inclusive work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities About BAE Systems: BAE Systems is a leading defence, security, and aerospace company that provides a range of products and services to customers around the world.
