Job Title: C&I Engineer

Red Sky Personnel is hiring on behalf of a Global Tier 1 main contractor for an exciting project involving large-scale excavations and tunnels.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled C&I Engineer to assist the I&M Manager with the design, implementation, and management of Instrumentation and Monitoring systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure structural building mitigation measures, defect surveys, and inspections are managed effectively.
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to ensure successful monitoring design.
  • Ensure monitoring design aligns with construction timelines.
  • Oversee data acquisition and analysis.
  • Presentation of monitoring data and interpretation of results.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and third parties.
  • Maintain community and third-party relations.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Instrumentation and Monitoring.
  • Proficient in MS Office and bespoke software.
  • Knowledge of structures and geotechnical engineering.
  • Experience in LU and Network Rail environments is a plus.
  • Degree in surveying, engineering, mining, or construction.
  • Previous experience in rail and LU environments.
  • SSSTS or SMSTS training.
