Job Role: M&E Estimator

Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join their team in Sittingbourne. This role will involve working on commercial, healthcare, education, and MOD tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and assess requirements for producing tenders and budgets, establishing associated costs for M&E Lifecycle, Sustainability Projects, Contract Variations, and New Tender opportunities.
  • Carry out site surveys as required.
  • Manage client and key stakeholder relationships in a professional and timely manner.
  • Prepare and return accurate and quality tender/estimates within the required deadline.
  • Work with existing teams to interpret information and price accurate pricing documents.
  • Develop tender strategy with commercial, bid, and operational teams.
  • Negotiate and establish agreed terms & conditions with the client in collaboration with the commercial team.
  • Obtain best pricing from supply chain partners for the appropriate resources, goods, and services for the tender/estimate, in line with budgetary provision.
  • Compliance with contracting standards, job costs, expected/minimum margin to ensure profitable returns to the business.
  • Create reports for senior management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • OND/HND/DEGREE Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Full UK driving license.
