Academic English Instructor

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher to support our students on a supply basis throughout Berkshire. As a supply teacher with Reed Education, you will have the flexibility to work with multiple schools and academies, choosing from a range of day-to-day and longer-term bookings.
About the RoleThis role is ideal for a qualified English teacher who is looking for a flexible opportunity to support young people. You will have experience in managing and being responsible for your own workload, and be able to establish and maintain relationships with a range of students.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English to students in a variety of settings, including secondary schools and academies
- Support students in achieving their academic goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
- Manage and be responsible for your own workload, including lesson planning and marking
- Market leading rates of pay, starting from a minimum of £125 per day
- Weekly pay every Friday, with no hidden payroll costs
- Flexibility to work with multiple schools and academies, choosing from a range of day-to-day and longer-term bookings
- Opportunity to work with a range of students and develop your teaching skills
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential
- An in-date DBS certificate that is on the Update Service is also desirable, but Reed are able to support you with a new application if this is not the case
