Job Title: Senior Administrator
Job Summary:
The Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrator to join their Diabetic Eye Screening Service. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and reliable individual to contribute to the smooth and efficient running of the service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train AfC Band 2 staff in administrative tasks and direct them to priority tasks.
- Outcome all clinic and treatment appointments on the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) and investigate any outlying performance.
- Update the pathway on the Screening Programme's Patient Administration System (OptoMize) to reflect HES events.
- Refer to the Electronic Medical Record (MediSIGHT) for correct disease coding for entry into OptoMize.
- Monitor clinic utilisation and take action to recover any underutilisation.
- Manage the creation and cancellation of clinics on the Trust's EPR to match planned leave, recovery plans, and job plan changes.
- Support the Contact Centre team with incoming calls as required.
- Book appointments for specialist clinics and laser treatments on the EPR.
