The role holder is responsible for ensuring that project construction logistics materials requirements and demand are integrated into the construction logistics team's planning and delivery of construction logistics support. - You will implement construction logistics materials strategy and plans in the projects within the role holder's portfolio.
- You will produce and provide, to the construction logistics team and its stakeholders, project performance, issues, risks, and opportunities in relation to construction materials logistics.
- You will liaise with the construction people logistics and integration project managers to ensure that there is a construction logistics team-wide understanding of the planning and delivery of construction materials logistics across the client's construction projects and programmes.
- You will measure and report the performance of the 3rd party logistics partner in planning and delivering construction materials logistics support to the assigned portfolios of construction projects.
- You will produce the construction materials logistics component of the project construction logistics plan in conjunction with the construction logistics team's integration managers and the client's project teams and contractors.
- You will manage the preparation and provision of construction materials logistics reporting information to the Construction Logistics team, 3rd party logistics partner, and wider client organisation.
- You will ensure that performance against planning constraints is monitored and potential breaches reported in sufficient time to enable effective proactive intervention to prevent them.
- You will deliver milestones/objectives set by the construction materials logistics manager.
- You will assimilate and validate the resourcing and cost estimates provided by a 3rd party logistics partner for the delivery of construction materials logistics support to the projects within the assigned portfolio of projects.
- You will support the preparation of robust tender and contract programmes and documentation using the designated planning tool.
- You will produce project reports or data as required to meet the needs and deadlines of the construction logistics team, the construction programmes, and other stakeholders as required.

- Strong experience of the planning and management of construction logistics support either as a provider or user.
- A project management qualification or considerable experience of successfully delivering projects to time, cost, and quality.
