About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Data Business Analyst to lead the Business Analysis function within our Group Data Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maturing our ways of working, balancing agile delivery methodologies with robust requirements engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Business Analysis function, shaping and implementing the strategy within Group Data Operations
  • Provide line management and pastoral support to up to 3 Business Analysts, guiding and coaching them in their roles
  • Scope and shape the analysis approach from EPIC level information at Product Level
  • Support Product Owners and Heads of in identifying EPIC User Stories, building and prioritizing product backlogs
  • Manage and influence senior stakeholder alignment and communication across multiple business areas
  • Support product managers across business divisions, encouraging innovation and customer-centred journeys and experiences
  • Manage, motivate, and develop employees at all levels, consistent with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Strong background as a Business Analyst within an Agile Scrum team and product development environment
  • Line management experience
  • Expertise in Agile frameworks, JIRA/Confluence, and Business Process Modelling techniques
  • Strong understanding and applied knowledge of User Experience and Customer Journey concepts
